Our research interests span efforts to (1) repair cartilage, (2) improve umbilical cord blood stem cell transplantation outcomes, (3) develop new methods to mimic prostate cancer disease in cell cultures and in animal models, and (4) research into research.  We are known for our development of novel culture devices, rigorous studies using primary and stem cell populations, and animal models.

Our work has been enabled through generous funding from the Australian National Health and Medical Research Council, Cure Cancer Australia, Cancer Australia, the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, Inner Wheel Australia, and private donors.

Our team contributes to science in the community activities.  If you, or your organisation, are interested in learning more about stem cells or tissue regeneration, please contact us. We love sharing science.
